Founded in 2013, Mission K9 Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to assisting Working Dogs around the world. We serve retiring and retired Military Working Dogs, Contract Working Dogs, and other dogs that align with our mission.

With the help of generous donors and compassionate adopters, many dogs have found safe, comfortable homes through our programs. Over the past twelve years, we have rescued more than 1,300 working dogs worldwide, reunited over 700 with their former handlers, and provided more than $2 million in veterinary care.

We are headquartered in Houston, Texas, with a satellite office in Thousand Oaks, California. We operate under Texas law and are recognized by the IRS as a charitable organization..
